My approach to holistic healing is intuitive, heart-centered, and backed by science - offering personalized sessions designed to restore functional movement, ease pain patterns, and support long-term recovery.
As a trained dancer, aerialist, and hypermobile athlete, I know firsthand how injuries, compensation patterns, and chronic pain can impact performance and daily life.
My own healing journey inspired a deep study of anatomy, kinesiology, and pathology, shaping my therapeutic approach and fueling my commitment to help others feel at home in their own bodies.
My academic background includes a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience, where I studied the nervous system, circadian rhythms, infectious diseases and data modeling.
After 5 years in higher academia, I felt a deep frustration with Western clinical medicine and academia. I began looking for alternatives to our existing systems, and my search brought me to the world of functional medicine and bodywork.
At the Berkana Institute of Massage Therapy, I completed extensive clinical work focused on treating pain from sports injuries, postural imbalances, surgical recovery, and neuropathy. This blend of scientific study, movement training, and hands-on therapeutic work allows me to address the body with both precision and compassion.
The education I received from Berkana is rooted in a trauma-informed framework. I combine my knowledge of intergenerational and complex trauma with manual therapy, and aim to expand accessibility to massage therapy through mutual aid initiatives.
I designed my practice with a pay-what-you-can model with the goal of servicing communities with high levels of need and low access. Reach out if you'd like to learn more.
Thank you for your support, and I look forward to working with you :)
